Gidi Burger is a spot in Surulere that I have always wanted to try. I have had it on my list for a while now, but I finally decided to break the ” don’t visit bond” First, I enjoyed the playlist they had playing in the background, which added to the overall ambiance. But there was no light, and they had a problem with the light plug, but the staff attended to it and fixed it.
MEAL
I ordered the crispy chicken burger, and it was pretty good. The chicken patty was nice and easy to bite into, but I wouldn’t say it was extra crispy – just a little bit crispy. The bun was huge and fresh, which was a plus. The veggies on the burger were fresh, and the sauce was pretty good. It was a solid 7.5 out of 10. I also got some chicken and chips. The chicken was grilled to perfection! It was juicy and bursting with flavor. And the chips were crispy and well-fried, just the way I like them. To wash it all down, I had a bottle of Zobo which had a nice balance of flavors – it was refreshing without being too sweet or overpowering. All in all, if you are in the area and looking for a chill spot to grab some food, I’d recommend checking it out.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
It was a good experience, their customer service was n0thing exceptional though. I would definitely visit again.
